The ISU GIS Facility and the Iowa Geographic Information
Council hosted the 2012 GIS Day celebration this year on
Wednesday Nov. 14 from 9am - noon in Durham 206.
There was coffee, treats, presentations, and discussion on what
is happening throughout the state and nation on current GIS topics
(for those not able to attend in person, there is an archived
recording of the presentations via Adobe Connect, see below).
There was also a poster gallery for students and professionals
outside Durham 206 in the hallway with prizes for winners voted
on by GIS Day attendees. By voting for posters, attendees were
entered into a raffle and many received great prizes donated by ESRI
and the University Bookstore.
